life as of 20260407

The past week has been pretty interesting. My school is experimenting with us (the students) right now, which resulted in me having to write two 3 hour offline tests on a SUNDAY, get a holiday on Monday and starting today, because my city will be dealing with high temperatures from now on, they changed the school hours to later in the evening WHICH IS HELL, usually other schools are supposed to have summer holidays or half days in this case, but since I go to a cram school/coaching school AND I'm in my last year of high school, we'll need to finish the syllabus as fast as possible which is why these school hours were set for us, and it would be completely fine if our school wasn't located in the MIDDLE of the city, most offices/workspaces are in the same area as my school and I'll probably reach home at around 8-9pm considering the absolute TRAFFIC in that area. anyway, today will be my first day attending with that system and I'll probably get some studying done beforehand because I will NOT be able to study when if I reach home late.

Moving on, I utilised my holiday yesterday to bake something!! I made smores cookies for the first time and had the first smores of my life at 17. Since I was six years old, I've been OBSESSED with the western romanticisation of eating smores at a campfire and making those cookies felt like a small childhood wish come true, we don't do much camping where I'm from in Asia, I've been camping once and we slept in more of a cabin than a tent, and there were no marshmallows over bonfires involved. 

Anyways, I also watched Project Hail Mary recently and as an aspiring astrophysicist, it reignited my passion for physics, watching it genuinely gave me so much joy and sense of purpose. This is totally the field I want to work in in the future and I promise I'll work harder to achieve my goals and live my dreams. I liked it so much I'm watching it again tomorrow.
