seasonal depression kicks my ass every winter but, i find myself always coming to a sense of hope and healing. those few sunny days before spring that give you a preview on what to look forward to in the future really motivates me to keep pushing, its only temporary. heres how i manage to crawl out of my princess castle and become the real me again.

daily routine + reminders ♡

morning
♡ 10 min no screentime * let your mind wake up *
♡ read or journal your dreams
♡ only light social media in the morning, checking important things
♡ sip cold ice water
♡ brush teeth & wash face
♡ pick out clothes for the day
♡ light breakfast + tea
♡ spend time with pets
*lowest amount of screentime possible*
noon
♡ pick up 5-10 things or do a random chore
♡ curl, straighten or take out your heatless curls
♡ do full face or light makeup depending on mood *anything to feel cute*
♡ social media time (pinterest, tiktok, insta, tumblr) , voice call
♡ eat lunch
♡ blog/journal/read
evening
♡ stretch/workout/pilates/meditation
♡ warm bath or a hot shower
♡ clean a little
♡ eat dinner
♡ spend time doing a hobby of choice
♡ brush teeth
♡ gaming/movie/tv
rules:
do something even if its small
lots of movement
follow the routine
dont turn down opportunities to go out
take care of yourself gently
romanticize your life
keep your space soft and clean
you dont have to be perfect, you already are
getting ready isnt a chore, i do it for me
no negativity
