the drops of water that fell from the sky today,

cleaned my eyes so i can see you clearer

standing right next to me as it poured

care and love you endlessly showed

was visible to the world as the name of truth,

experiencing happiness as the heart of youth

you wash away sorrow from the weight of the day

you wash away pain inside my heart that never is there to stay

no matter how it is black, white or gray

you walk right next to me, i'll walk your way
