is it possible to fall in love with someone you've never met?

last year i met someone online his name is bryce and he’s from texas. when we first met i wasnt really expecting me and bryce to turn into anything because at that time he had a girlfriend. then a few months later he broke up with his girlfriend,we started talking we started as friends. he is a former drug addict. he’s been clean for a year but he has to stay in texas right now because he got in some legal trouble when he was on drugs and is currently on probation. but that  doesnt matter to me because  we like each other enough to make it work. i wasnt expecting to catch feelings for him but it just kind of happened. he makes me happy. we have talked about him moving down her once he gets off probation.
