well one of the most Used Instrument since 70s are synths.

Well its not just an instrument its an Engineering marvel. Well Guitars, organs, keyboards, etc etc are coool very coool but synthesizers are living things.They have oscillators Just like we have organs and each Synthesizer has its unique potential to create Insane sounds. 

The use of Synthesizers has evolved So much Since 70s.Before their was no Digital synths musicians used analog gear to create sounds thats still iconic to this date.Jupiter, juno,Moog, oberheim, DX7 are some iconic synths

in The song 'Running Up that hill' Kate Bush Used Farlight CMI and absolutely Stunning sounding synthesizer to created the intro riff which remained in our ear. 

If we talk about modern day use of synthesizer, Micheal Jackson Used synth basses a lot. 

Now.. Let's talk about the Modern master of synthesizers... The MIKE DEAN. 

From Travis to Kanye , Don to Weeknd... This guy is behind the biggest New gen artists.Mike dean is reinvented The use of Synths with his outros in Hip hop music. 

 I recommend any synth enthusiast Who haven't already Listened to Mike Dean's Instrumental albums... please go and listen to them they re absolute Masterpieces.

So yeah My favorite synths are Definitely Prophet 5,Mini Moog, Juno and Oberheim Ob1 along with Yamaha DX7... Moog grandmother and Yess last but not the least the Farlight CMI
