The Journey Begins.

I would like to start this post off by saying welcome and also I'm sorry ahead of time. Very little I have to say or type has any value or meaning. 

For the last few years, reading has fallen to the wayside for me as I tackled a never-ending list of adulthood tasks. In the beginning of this year, I sat down and decided that this year I was going to rediscover my love of books and all things bookish and HOLY SHIT am I glad I decided to do that! We are just a few days short of April and I have already read 43 books. Now don't misunderstand me to say I have loved every book I have read this year because there have been some that I majorly regret reading. ( I feel that is to be expected when reading so many books. They can't all be winners.) 

Starting today, I want to try and review the books I read this year as I try to accomplish my goal of 100 books read this year. I have trashed all my TBR's and now I think it's time for me to hold myself accountable for actually reading the 40+ unread books I have instead of simply buying new books to spite the voice in my head telling me I need to read the ones I have first.

That being said, I think I am going to start fresh this coming month and actually put together a solid TBR and stick to it.
