LOVE THIS ALBUM SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
I made this post play the title track (it does not really match the theme lol)
Not For Lack Of Trying by Dodie captures so many bittersweet and melancholic notes that it absolutely sweeps me away with comfort and understanding, knowing that im not alone in feeling similar things to what is expressed through her songs.
I haven't been able to stop listening to this album start to finish, day in and day out.
Recently I bought the clear vinyl version of it and it sounds beautiful!

The album sounds so beautiful on vinyl, I can't imagine what it would sound like live (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)
I have been following Dodie since her early YouTube days and find great comfort in her music. I love seeing how far she's come in her song writing style and hearing all of the insane harmonies throughout each song tickles my brain -w-
I wanna make everyone listen to this album fr!
