American Woodcock in Bryant Park

These past few days, i've been seeing posts about an American Woodcock hanging out in Bryant Park, Manhattan. Right now, it's late migration time for them, so they're all headed north.

As someone who really likes these birds, I had to go and see one for myself.

So I took a train to the city to spot one. It didn't take long before I found the bird in Bryant Park. There were lots of people gathered around this one bird, it was kind of amazing seeing so many people care about it.
