i was thinking about using normal hair dye, but i am not sure if that wouldnt damage the extentions, any suggestions on how i could dye them?

I had 30 pink extensions on my hair before and I was dying them with normal hair dye BUT it damaged them and made them like plastic ew. Also extensions sucks after like a month. They messed up my hair and I suffered while brushing my hair cause like my own hair gets pulled out. Also as your hair grows over time the extensions move to the middle of your hair. It feels weird.
