Is anyone else just low-key bad at being social? Because don’t get me wrong I love talking to new people and I want more friends, but all I do is work and crash between shifts. I promise I’m not purposefully ignoring anyone, I’ve just had the same three friends since elementary school and I’m used to conversations dropping off and picking up at random. I’m trying to work on that because I know it only works with them but it’s what I’m used too.

I wouldn't say I'm bad at being social, but its pretty hard to make friends as an adult esp if ur done with school/trade. I've read something somewhere about situational friends -- friends you make at school, work, etc. I rlly relate to it. The new friends I'm making now are actually people I used to go to school w years ago and I find them at their job when I'm out. And even if ur putting urself out there is feels exhausting because people will talk very surface-level then drop off the face of the earth. The people I find that really stick talk more about their personal lives and I do the same.
