waiting for parts to arrive is the most nerve-wracking thing ever

i got an old slider phone (htc desire z) at a flea market and was DYING to try it out but sadly there was a buncha problems with it ;w; ^{(what did i expect after getting the damn thing for like a fiver-)} it mostly works fine, but there's a couple of key things that i sorta can't go without--

the SD card slot doesn't work, wifi turns on but can't connect, and the date/time resets each time the phone is powered on. i made a last ditch effort to check if it was a software issue and naturally ruled that out pretty quick. so all of that points to a motherboard failure of some kind (some sorta failure in the PMIC probably) so that means i had to order a whole. new. board !! yay !!

anyway i ordered it ^{(old phone boards are surprisingly cheap !! just gotta know if they're SIM locked-)} and now comes the hardest part -- waiting for the damn thing to arrive ;w; i only ordered it yesterday but i  wanna open this bad boy and get working alreadyyyyy-- the main reason i got the phone was for photography and i can't even do that until i get it fixed it up ;w;
