Hello, Ive always been interested in immersing myself into physical media but I've never really found any oppourtunity to do so. Recently (today) I decided to buy myself a Pinkerton CD at the mall, and after listening to it over and over on my Player I've decided I am going to start collecting them. What I've come to ask is if any of you have advice for collecting CDs other than really just going out and buying them.
Im very new to this so forgive me for any ignorance, Thanks!

make sure you actually buy CDs you know you're going to listen to!! otherwise you'll end up spending money on something you won't even use ;w; don't be like me
oh and also handle your CDs carefully!! you dont wanna get a good CD scratched

I know! I honestly spent like 3 hours at the record shop just to buy the pinkerton CD and you know what, I've been listening on repeat.

My main reason you should invest into not just cd's, but physical media as a WHOLE: you own it. "Streaming" is just a softer way of saying "renting". After purchasing a CD at Goodwill for 1 dollar, you can rip it to your pc and put it on any device you want (if you so desire). Its yours.

I don’t think you can exactly be ignorant to CDs, theyre pretty straight forward! if you like going to local shows and a band you like has cds it makes them all the more special :-p and always check 2nd hand stores u never know what the have (=゚ω゚)ノ
