Chronological order for simplicity.
1990, Temple of the dog: Hunger strike. One of my favorite songs of all time & relevant now more than ever.
1992, Solo: Ferry Boat #3. (Reworked into "The Curse" by Audioslave in 2005.) Such an honest & heartfelt song. Written for Singles, but never made it into the movie.
1992, Solo: Seasons.
Beautiful lyrics and outstanding melody. It feels just as impactful & mysterious as the first time I've heard it.
1994, Soundgarden: Black Hole Sun. Everyone & Their mother has heard this song before, but its popular for a reason. Haunting melody, Beautiful lyrics.
1994, Soundgarden: The Day I Tried to Live. Insight into Chris's depression and day-to-day life. Bitter & painfully honest.
1996, Soundgarden: Applebite. So easy to get lost in this song, like Day I Tried, full of bitterness & honesty.
1996, Soundgarden: Blow up the outside world. Painful, Honest, Full of regret but sung in an almost remorseful way. Only CC could make such a song.
1999, With Eleven: all of Euphoria Mourning. Seriously. I don't really want to list the whole album so here are the most outstanding tracks to me; Cant Change me, Preaching the end of the world, When I'm down, Moonchild, Sweet Euphoria, & Disappearing one.
1999?, With Eleven: Heart of Honey. Words cannot describe how i feel about this song. Go listen to it. Such a shame it wasn't released.
2002, Audioslave: Cochise. Hard rock track with the classic Chris Cornell feeling.
2002, Audioslave: Like a Stone. Like with Black Hole Sun, Popular for a reason. Sad & Beautiful.
2005, Audioslave: Be Yourself. So powerful & fun to listen to.
2007, Solo: Killing Birds
2007, Solo: Disappearing act
2007, Solo: Billie Jean
2007, Solo: Finally Forever
2007, Solo: Arms around your love
2007, Solo: Ghosts
2007, Solo: Scar on the sky
2009, Solo: Scream: Although Scream is the black sheep Cornell album I think this song is one of his finest works. Awesome acoustic version exists too.
End of part one. I want to start blogging more so I decided to talk about music. Ill try to blog every day or whenever i can. Part 2 tomorrow probably.

Man, Bones of Birds is sooo good. I also think Head Down would be a great addition to the list
