I haven't had the opportunity to participate in April Fools ever since... well, a very long time ago. Sans the yearly BOOP fest over on Tumblr and the occasional other website, it seems that everyone just stopped acknowledging it in the last five or seven years...
In middle school we treated it like a warzone of whimsy, every year plotting ahead of time to do something grand. Had stories from our parents of the mighty tricks they played in their youth...!
I miss that sort of "putting heads together to plot something silly" a lot. I miss when my idea of fun overlapped with my peers' idea of fun. :')

sadly don't have any prank plans as my parents r out but i still remember a prank i did a few years ago but it failed so bad. i put toothpaste on all the door handles but my parents didn't touch the toothpaste when opening the door. so when i asked them if they had gotten toothpaste on their hands while opening the doors, they just looked at me confused
