The purpose of a system of moderation, of course, is to keep a platform protected. However, this can only be possible if a platform is cared for. Anton, you have proven, time and time again, you do not care about this platform.
If we were in another state, I'd be all over this update. We could handle moderation properly, have the userbase be able to take down things directly. Wisdom of crowds, and all that. However, this is a decision preceding almost half a year of direct neglect. Furthermore, this is a decision following a rapid growth of highly graphic incidents on this platform, particularly, with direct CSEM material, and Snuff material, left on the site for hours at a time.
Whilst I couldn't put a percentage to it, a sizeable portion of this userbase is clearly ones without good interest in safety. There is, very clearly, a large issue on the userbase and its already been let to run rampant. Do you expect this userbase to not find an exploit for your extremely vulnerable platform? Your invite system was already exploited day of, your site has been botted countless times.
Further, I feel this system is entirely indicative of the status of how Anton feels about it. He doesn't care, if he did care, he would have fixed things along time ago. This is his final fix to make Spacehey a platform he can leave alone, forget about. If it takes contacting your hosts to take down CSEM, you are not someone you cares. I don't know if he keeps it up out of obligation, or money, but it has long proven itself no longer a labor of love.
I deeply hope I'm proven wrong. I'm deeply convinced I wont be.
