"Laugh" a poem

I love it when someone laughs obnoxiously loud in public

That hurts no one

Why would someone get mad at a laugh?

Not a yell, not a scream, but a laugh, a giggle

That hurts no one

This is different though, with a man

This will hurt

When a man booms a laugh its like brandishing a weapon

It's a boast of power, of space he's allowed to take up unapologetically

It's showcasing the control he holds over a room

This will hurt

(Didn't expect this to turn out misandrist lmaoo. I'll just consider it a cleanse for my friends list 😉 I'm not 100% happy with this, but striving for perfection helps no one so I'm posting it)
