connecting to the way of life

These days ive really been connecting to my spirituality, or more like trying to. I consider myself to be an atheist, and I am honest. I don't necessarily believe in god or such a higher being, but my family is Buddhist too, and so am I, and it contradicts a lot of things if you figure it out.

So for myselI, i find myself followia ng sort of Theravada Buddhism, and Navayana (which is often connected to Dr B.R. Ambedkar, who is a really prominent figure in India for a lot of people because he helped remove the caste system and other reforms, althoughcasteismm is still relevant anI i still face it, since I'm from one of the "lower castes" and if we see according to the tabl,e my cas, te which is "mahar" or "chamar" North India is considered to be the lowest.)

I follow the principles of Buddha, his way of life and living. Still, i dont honestlybelievee in the whole "tantric" Buddhismsm because I simply don't believe in worshipping him, and he himself opposed idol worship, so that's that. Soo what I was saying that, these days I really feel like a sort of connection of myself and Buddha coming back together because a while back I really drifted apart from all sorts of spirituality and stuff, BUDH PURNIMA is coming soon, and I'm EXCITED! We always go out and donate food and give away old clothes to people, and try to make donations (even though we can't make much since we're from amiddle-classs family and all, but yeah.
