Prism
Scarlet solution pumps in dumps through man.
Ochre is the early morn which grows
Jaundiced fruits dealt by her.
The avocado is chartreuse and bland.
Then, accompanied by the luna blues
The stellar stars dance across our atmospheric spectrum.
The mauve moves me. I can feel the lavender love.
Sometimes I miss the harmonious violet violence,
Or the peculiar periwinkle that planted lilacs in the soil.
But when nature claims me without discrimination
I will not fight back.
Her emerald emergence shines sharply with sanguine.
My eyes will become oxyned.
My skin and bones fade to ivory.
I may finally rest.
Lying once again among the eternal cosmos.
