i'm not really up to date but I keep running across posts made by GOAT and other people, I see that GOAT has some history with admins/moderators/the owner (?) but I have no idea what is happening,
I also see that they published their own website(click to open) which I did check out and it's great imo, good job to GOAT and their dev team :)
but i'm still curious about the whole situation that happened since everyone is talking about it and my tiny brain can't comprehend any of it, I also prefer objective opinions
tl;dr as an admin of napo we couldn't take the lackluster moderation. multiple users were traumatized by seeing CP, child abuse, and gore up for nearly 12 hours one day and after a few of us got banned for speaking out and saying that mods need to do their job better, we decided spacehey wasn't worth it anymore.

In extremely general and simplified terms, I think it's all about bad moderation, sum happened, so Goat and their team decided to make their own thing I guess???????

I understand that everyone can be busy and there was likely a lack of staff, but why would they ban you lmao that's stupid
