it doesn't feel forced 

like something in the abyss 

like how my past lovers did

his light 

his soul

feels like a comforting 

yellow light

warming my skin

and my bones 

his touch is delicate 

feeling it always 

even when 

hes not around 

im forever thankful 

for his love

i never felt this way

i thought i felt it

with my past girlfriend 

but that was false 

i gave up on love

before him

then he came

he came down for me like 

an angel

bringing life to my 

dying self

when i got to know him

i knew it reminded me of something 

the feeling when 

you listen to a song

for the first time and knowing

its going to be your favorite 

when we grow old

i wanna be 

cherished by his love

while he reads

and i garden 

in our beautiful
