I Love Content Creators

I haven't been watching streamers and youtubers with massive followings recently (ie; CoryxKenshin, KubzScouts, Berleezy, Jackscepticeye, etc;) because NONE of these mfs could satisfy the Minecraft itch I've been trying to scratch for the past 4 months. So, I moved onto smaller content creators who all exhibit like this little quirk that I notice is a lot easier for larger content creators to do: They just talk about nonsense, they inquire about their audience even if they have like 200 views per video. 

I love it. I love watching a new creator and I'm able to know more about them or I'm encouraged to watch their past videos because they make references to other gameplays or topics they discussed in the past. I like when they get in the mic after not posting for a while and apologize because they were sick or are still sick. Could be a bit parasocial but the parasociality(?) of it is the thing I enjoy!!  Maybe it's because I'm nosy. 

Some of them don't do it as like overtly, they're not telling you play by plays of their week leading up to recording the video but if they're playing a mod that revamps spiders in game, they're going to tell you that their worst fear isn't spiders it's deep sea diving or like spelunking. I love when content creators talk to their audience, even if you don't expect someone to see the video... you want to give the ones that do see it a reason to watch right ? 

For example, I found Jet (JettroJettro) like 6 months before Minecraft took all of my attention but he stayed a constant through my Minecraft phase because he was playing The Last of Us while I was in my TLOUII phase. I love his videos so much, he reminds me of Berleezy and of Cory but he's his own person at the same time. He's funny, he's animated, he's incredibly sweet (even to the fictional characters he may or may not be playing as) and he's tries to keep his updates consistent. *ahem* ...Cory.. *ahem* HE'S A GREAT GUY and he's a scaredy cat but all he plays is horror. It's great. 

KingRosé is from like my 10th-11th grade Genshin phase. I don't watch him as much anymore and I'm actually going to put on one of his videos after this because I do miss him in my rotation, BUT, I came back to his content a few weeks ago because he also started playing Minecraft. His videos are great to put on in the background because he will eventually just start talking about random shit and it's nice to hear someone just yap. He's such a geek (NOT DEROGATORY) and it's beautiful because the content he makes reflects that. He plays Hollow Knight, Little Nightmares, Final Fantasy, Baldur's Gate, Elden Ring, Kingdom Hearts, AND MORE!! He posts like anime and fan animation reactions, UGH I love his videos and his personality and his content. 

Bwaap is getting grouped in with KingRosé because I watched both of them for the Genshin content, iirc Bwaap was like very reserved in his playthroughs, I would turn his videos on for background noise while I played Genshin. AND RedNasYo... tbh I need to rewatch some videos because I must have enjoyed them I just can't remember for what specific reasons. 

AHH, Bizzle, he's recent but I like his Minecraft videos, along with EyeBeePlus and Wifies and and oh... I forgot to subscribe to half of the people I binge watch bc I did binge watch. 

Additionally, SteelStrifeEX and Floverse, haven't watched a Floverse vid in ages I'm a fake fan :(. They're both really funny, in my opinion, and I enjoy watching their videos before bed to give me something to watch and listen to and laugh at while I get ready to knock out. They both venture into the realm of gameplays I know nothing about/don't have much interest in but I watch anyway because I like them as creators, all of which is also geeky. 

More than gaming videos though, I do love a movie/show reaction, especially when I become like infatuated by a movie (like EEAAO) and I need to watch different people react to it like the times over before I'm happy. 

Roanoke Gaming is kinda like that :3, y'know he explains the potential biology and pathology behind the infections and mutations in video games and movies. He starts off with a recap of the movie and he sprinkles in his own judgement of the characters' actions and then he dives into the science and I've been watching him since middle school. He's the reason I wanted to work in Pathology (v briefly before I learned that, that's not for me).

Kennie J.D. is a creator I started watching because she had this series called 'Bad Movies & a Beat' where she would review hilariously horrible movies while giving the most casual glammed makeup look and I love her content because it's so comforting. She is like an older sister to me a little bit, she covers so many different topics and discusses so many things and so many stupid reality shows with such clarity that I don't have to watch the shows or movies  myself. 

OMG!! Alanda Parker, I love her videos too. (duh). She just posts movie reactions and she's so tuned into the movies like she gasps and clutches her pearls and covers her face and her little bits of commentary are so funny. She hasn't uploaded a video in 8 months though... so... I hope she's doing well. I love her videos. 

Nics&Nacs is another creator I really like for the same reasons as Alanda, she reacts so openly to all of the stuff going on in the movie you would think they're both watching the videos in 3D rather than the comfort of their own home. However, she also has not uploaded in a while... in a year actually. So I hope she's safe and well too.
