3/24 Mall Meetups?? (Punks, goths, emos, the like)

I know I probably don't have the details straight but I do think I remember reading about a time where goths or alt ppl would meet up at malls just to hang out. Do people still do that? If not does anyone know why?

With the rise of online spaces I feel like irl meet-ups containing alt people in a more casual setting have been on steady decline especially during the daytime. Sometimes a bat just wants to get a bit of sunlight to better appreciate the moonlight. It'd also be fun to see everyone's makeup and clothing in a more proper light (˶>𐃷•˶)

I'd say that my local diy scene is pretty active (at least one or two local shows played every week) so how hard could it be round up a bunch of delinquents into one spot for a chance at community building:

 ☆ Without drugs being a main focus (Not that I'm against them; it would just have more of an all-ages focus as well as being in public and all that)

 ☆ In the daytime (vitamin d is important even for the nocturnal)

 ☆ With local alternative folks (in my town ya'll live about less then 30 mins from our nearest mall, find your asses a ride!)

 ☆ A chance to talk to people who aren't in ig dm's or some discrepant server 

Pretty hard, you say? (I hope not)

Well, why a mall? Don't get me wrong I love our local parks and skateparks but with more pigs patrolling around more than usual I think an already public space where people already gather in groups would lower the chances of legal troubles (ofc it wouldn't lower those chances to an absolute zero)
