hi!! i've been doing more drawing in my sketchbook :3

 very much just character stuff so nothing out of the ordinary for me but i'mliking howthe book is slowly getting chunkier:~D 

i used to fill my books with lots of trash and stickers and i honestly still could but i think i've been conditioned to think that my art should all be 100% done by me and that collages would be a waste of paper... anyway! 

take a looksee if you'd like! there's some digital art at the bottom of this blog too.. i can't wait to be done with school for the semester and be able to return to doing digital stuff for fun 

not sure what this guy's deal is but hes kind of neat

orrin being a grouch because for some reason i have default poses/expressions i draw my ocs in repeatedly and it's sort of involuntary?? i should post about them sometime i am super duper normal about them all

i think this pitcher looks better than the others because its a full page rather than a cropped segment... i may come back and update this blog once the other pages are more complete so its less claustrophobic

azaleaaaa omg i had fun with the oil pastels in the top drawing

i really like the guy on the right.. the look of semi-dry paint markers layered on top of each other is sooo good

and here's the digital stuff (1 image) i mentioned earlier!! i did this in paint about a month ago now so not necessarily super recent but i think it's neato!! i like that cecilia's holding a glass of water i think there's something humorous there about such dramatic lighting and tilted camera framing what is actually just a person standing in the middle of their house with a glass of water.. idk wilders back there too though

on a different note i've really been enjoying popping on spacehey and perusing people's art and stuff! posting here feels so much more rewarding than on instagram even though apps like that are made to give you that instant gratification.. i prefer my gratification earned!! there's nothing better than taking time to put something together even if it's just for myself.

i'm a little less chatty on today's blog because school is really ramping up and this week is busy with a bunch of work for my science elective, but once all is done and dusted i will ABSOLUTELY be using this page to post music and a whole bunch of stuff related to my "project" (which is what i'm forcing myself to call the messy story up in my noggin) so LOOK FORWARD TO THAT!!!
