Am I the jerk here?

So I am proudly Pansexual and have a partner (Long distance tho) and in school I have this dance project where I have to do a dance with some classmates and most of them keep pressuring me to dance with one of them and they won’t stop (in a way) even after I asked the teacher if I can dance with a plushie or some other humanoid thing instead (to my surprise my teacher said yes) but my classmates keep saying that I have to put a picture of one of them on the thing I will use to dance.
