uhm spaced repetition with tools like Anki works really well for me if you've got a specific selection of words you're trying to memorise e.g. for school. You can also do quizlet but I kinda don't like them because corporation
there are also a bunch of published decks created by community members that can be really good! Other than that I mean just engaging a lot with the language is good? I try to turn on subtitles for the language I'm trying to learn wherever possible because even if it's not as active as fully watching the media in that language it allows me to make associations with words and experience a broader vocab range
