i have some tips for u!
spotidownloader.com lets you download spotify albums (though revently theyve been putting a lot of ads on the site)
yams.tf lets you download from apple music, you just have to register an account
squid.wtf lets you download from a bunch of different services and works pretty well
archive.org isn't exclusively a music site but if you google the album you want with "archive.org" there's a chance someone's uploaded it depending on how popular the album is
i don't know what kind of mp3 player you plan on getting but if you're looking for like an ipod kind of thing i'd recommend the ipod classic 4th gen, also called the ipod color or ipod photo. it has a color screen and a really cool look to it
