Ok so this is short and just to inform people who are trans or their birth sex doesn't match with their gender and can't come out (strict parents, homophobic place or parents)

So then Supreme Court passed a law saying that if parents ask, your school counselor is LEGALLY REQUIRED to tell them

I just found out today, which sucks.

I live in California so I do have some confidentiality left but still

The next time you see your school counselor, ask them if you can go by a nickname and your original pronouns if you are in a place where you can't come out (im transmasc and my parents are super homophobic and transphobic).

My nickname is Lou, which my parents call me all the time. The only difference is the spelling

Pick out a nickname like your dead name or go by your dead name
