Every now and then I see a video of these stupid robots that deliver food, sometimes disrupting people and moving on common areas like sidewalks and even crossing roads and nearly getting hit by cars and I sometimes get ticked by idea that knowing living in a country like the US where tipping is a culture and people trying meet ends by making other ways for money whether that be Uber, Door dash, Spark Drivers (Walmart) or Instacart and I take that with experience being that I had a friend who did all those when he was struggling to get a job. The argument that these robots are only for short-distanced deliveries do not excuse the amount that people are going to make in the future, when we look at the majority US population about 83.5% of the US population lives in urban areas where stores and POIs are in near distance and yet before they implemented this people are delivering food and groceries to these locations. Another incentive companies are making is that they have these "robot wranglers" that maintain robots but what is the ratio in losing workers for new different ones with some saying requiring "no experience" to apply? When will this stop once they can maintain themselves it's apparent that technology will take over many of the things we do weekly, it's not exactly a negative or positive thing I just wanted to point that out.
I don't like Robot Deliveries. (Rant)
