the reactions regarding the use of violence by the police are repulsive
after seeing a poc getting their shit beaten by the police on a video, non concerned people will go around with a certain audacity asking for some "context". what context would still justify leaving someone between life and death??? "wait for the context u cant just criticize so fast:(" "you dont know what could have happened.." whats this habit of erasing the human behind a person of color and not being able to accept that theyre much more of a potential victim to police executive excesses.
the way some non minority people are not able to picture that yeah there are cops who come up to you when you're black, arab or any other ethnicity thats forced to be marginalized out of society, just to beat you up for no reason at all. they cant imagine it, they DONT want to imagine it. the way minorities' words and feelings are never taken seriously unless there is an external testimony and even that doesnt guarantee the support they should get in front of an injustice.
since privileged (white) people have and will never go through this, they can not accept it. they dont have this fear of going home and perhaps, be assaulted by the cops. we dont have the same reality.
its scary how people are only able to accept opression when they can put themselves in the shoes of a victim. when they cant transpose it: they will automatically refute it.
they could literally rip the eyeball of a 16yo black immigrated kid, yet some people will still ask for the armed cop's version before trusting the victim.
the police is a public system and its goal is to protect. and so, when this structure ends up attacking a peer, a human, a minority, the first defensive answer will be "but this never happened to me" yeah you are white
anyway im beyond tired over this shit Take care and dont stop talking about this injustice xx

It’s sad. It’s fucked up in all ways you can and can’t even imagine, I hear about these news, and I feel so flabbergasted, I mean, in 2026 we are STILL discriminating and racially profiling people based off of something they can’t control?? Talk about America is great…
But honestly. You should NEVER put hands on people, especially when they did nothing, and weren’t doing anything. Even a toddler knows that’s wrong !!!:c

Absolutely agree with you. People are crazy!
"Well, maybe they did something to deserve that!"
To deserve being slowly beaten to death on a public road!?? Are we in the dark ages???
Also, the police are only allowed to make arrests. They can't convict, and they can't carry out sentences! Even if someone did something really bad the police *still* won't be the ones dealing with it?? (Specifically in the US, idk about other places - sorry)

I completely agree with you, internet stranger. It's truly terrifying how privileged people has stopped empathizing with people who aren't like them.
right!! this is just so suffocating. and seeing that this phenomenon is pushing non privileged ppl as well to dissolve their empathy instead of showing some solidarity is scary..

I agree, knowing that they're making "dark humor jokes" about the P. Diddy and Jeffry Epstein cases is incredibly disgusting. The lack of empathy is a sign of the decline in people's ethics and morals today.
