Guys, my hands are literally shaking.
Here’s the situation: I was messing around with an Indian project and accidentally gained full access to their system. Took a look around—and everything was there: databases, payment keys, everything wide open. I estimated their turnover—they’re moving about $120,000 right now. Technically, I could flip everything with just one script.
And that’s when it hit me. Not from excitement, but from pure fear. I’m just a regular recluse, sitting in my Neovim, not bothering anyone. And what if I reach out to them, and instead of “thanks,” they decide to blame everything on me? They could say, “Oh, it’s that guy who hacked in, we had a transaction lost yesterday, hang it on him.”
In the end, I freaked out. Decided I didn’t need that kind of trouble.
So I just wiped everything. Deleted the logs of my presence, erased query history, and scrubbed any data I might have accidentally touched. Made sure there was absolutely no trace of me left.
That’s it for today. And honestly, I’m scared.
