Hi everyone, Rory again :)
Today I'm thinking about how I didn't realize for a long time that part of the human experience is having fun. Just doing things that make you happy for no other reason than the fact that they made you happy.
Fun isn't something that you need to earn, fun is something that you deserve. Even if it's been a hard day and you didn't finish those dishes, or that laundry, or make that phone call. You still deserve to have fun. The child in your heart deserves just as much attention as your responsibilities demand, especially in a world that's been so volatile lately.
If you're reading this, and things have been hard for you lately, get away from your device and do something just because you feel like doing it. Whether it's listening to music, playing a game, doing a dance, reading a book, talking to a friend, whatever!!!! Just do it!!!!!!!!!! You deserve things that bring you delight. For no other reason than the fact that you're a living, breathing human.
You deserve to be happy.
It's a beautiful day today where I am, and I hope that the skies are clear and the sun is bright for you too. If they're not, I hope they are soon. Have some fun today, and tell a friend that you love them.

Whenever I can I try to steal these moments, although it's sometimes hard not to feel guilty about putting myself first since the world constantly pressures you to do the opposite. We live to laugh and feel, not to be productive machines. Having fun and creating things for the joy of it will always be more important to me than modern society's priorities.

yea i feel like everyone gets sooo cought up in responsebilites that EVERYTHING has to have some sort of benifit D: like reminds me when one of my classmates said that she dosenr play games cuz its a waste of time and how theres no benifit to it and i was like ;-; IDC IF SHE DOSENT LIKE GAMES BUT LIKE YOUR HOBBIES DONF NEED TO BRING YOU ANYTHONG AS LONG AS YOURE HACING FUNN UGHH I HATEEE HOW DEMONISED USLESS FUN IS>:(
