"Father" Overseer Is the Real Issue // PHIGHTING!

Throughout the game and the comic, Father Overseer plays a big role within the lore. After The Scorch he comes in to convince the inphernals of Lost Temple to join his "family" for a new start, of course some do and some don't. I'm not aware of Father Overseer command them (Inphernals in the church) or they did it themselves or it was people on the Redcliff Wranglers side but one started attacking, and now Lost Temple is in a civil war between Redcliff Wranglers and the Chruch of TRUE EYE.

But here comes my question, what would've happen if he wasn't there? Yeah, it would been in shambles of course but at the same time, would it be better? In my head, yes. This war started because of Father Overseer, if he was never there this deadly fight would have happened. While Lost Temple would be in a bad state, half of it's population wouldn't be at war with the other. Even worse, I believe he targets the vulnerable. Sounds obvious on paper, but shows how twisted he is.

Broker says he doesn't want to talk about her 20s, It's been stated Scythe lost her arm in The Scorch, and Medkit being the incident back at Blackrock. This all are/could be the lead of trauma and being in the state of vulnerability to everything and everyone around them. Overseer sees this as an opportunity, swoops them up in the lie that he'll help them, takes them in into the church with the life of work and murder if have too, and then that's that. But in the end, he doesn't help them, no? More he uses them as pawn for more control over Lost Temple.

It has gotten so bad, the Redcliff Wranglers had to get help from the Darkage Clan to get control over the spawning shrine (or spawnpoint) because of Overseer's deep control on the land. But even then, even some members of the church have a hard time believing what he is saying (Proven by a line in Scythe's wiki page) and even the practices they have seem deadly. Removing ones eye to replace it with a glass one? Seeeeems deadly to me....

I feel as if the name of the church, the pratices they face, even how their leader dresses, seems to lead to the meaning "An Eye for an Eye" which basically means the idea that a person who causes another person to suffer should suffer in an equal amount. So, at the end of Death In The Family, Overseer will fall and get the same fate he caused, destroying others just to get more power. He will fall and feel the same wrath he caused.

In the recent chapter, I do not believe what the Redcliff Wranglers was right, But, it was for survival. And while this is a random note......... I HOPE SWORD CRASHES OUT. LIKE BIG TIME. FULL ON VIOLENCE. Anyways, I just wanted to say this because in my head, Overseer is the REAL issue we should worry about.
