hellooo, im thinking of buying a modded psp, and before you say it, i know a ps vita is better but its not really affordable where i live so...
i am not the most knowledgeable on devices like these but i decided i want to own a handheld console and steamdeck, 3ds, switch are just too out of my budget. i often play visual novels and apparently there is a nice selection. (id love visual novel recs for psp!!)
the question is, is a psp worth owning in the big 26? lolz
consider the fact that portable devices are a must for me since i stay in dorms and old tech is in my interests

It depends what you want out of it but I LOVE the PSP it's my obsession modding it just makes it so you can play homebrew and stuff there's some good ports like minecraft and quake plus the PSP has really good original library of games and plays all ps1 games I used mine before as an MP3 and MP4 player so you can also do that if your into that stuff it also has a lot of visual novel ports like DDLC and some English translation of original visual novels released for the PSP in japan
tysm!!! i bought it today ahsdhsad i mean it looks very much worth it and just feels like a great device to own for my collection anyway. excited to try it out!!
