Alone, Not Lonely

Some days, I feel like I’m carrying the weight of all the world’s expectations on my shoulders. Relationships, school, family, friends—they all expect pieces of me, and sometimes I feel like I’m just handing out fragments of a puzzle I haven’t finished yet. I love deeply, too much sometimes, and I hurt just as much when people leave or misunderstand me.

But the weirdest thing is that through all that chaos, I find myself. I discover what I truly care about, what makes me laugh until my stomach hurts, what makes me cry without shame. I learn that being alone doesn’t mean being lonely, and that rejecting people isn’t always cruelty—it can be survival. Every heartbreak, awkward conversation, and stolen laugh shapes the version of me that keeps moving forward.

And maybe that’s the lesson: life isn’t about being perfect or having everyone love you. It’s about finding moments that feel real, about embracing who you are, and knowing that even in the messiest, most confusing days, you’re learning, growing, and becoming someone you’re proud of.
