My Pizza Journey

I decided to start trying to make really good pizza. Here's some of my best photos. Leave a comment if recipes are wanted

Pita bread pizza

^ Pita Bread Pizza with chopped parsley. Great for a small lunch. I forgot to put Parmesan in the sauce so I had to put it on top. Still good, but better in the sauce.

Naan bread pizza

^ Naan bread pizza (highly recommend, almost impossible to screw up, and very fast)

One is just regular pepperoni with parsley and the other is "Neapolitan"

When I make my pizza sauce, I add some olive oil and plenty of dried oregano + a little crushed red pepper for a deeper taste, but I didn't add any to the "Neapolitan" since Neapolitan pizza is very simple; just tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella chunks, and basil leaves on top after taking out the oven.

Also, make sure to brush the crust generously with oil so it's nice and crispy.

Homemade dough

^ I have been trying for multiple months to make New York style but it is ALWAYS way too small to be "New York". Still delicious though.

Made calzones for my family

^ Made Calzones for the family. Here's the recipe I used, but don't use as much Ricotta as them, use mostly Mozzarella.

Cheese spread 0_0Pita bread pizza with garlic bread (made using homemade garlic butter)

^ Pita Bread Pizza, with homemade garlic bread. Just shred two cloves of garlic *very, very* finely into half a stick of melted butter and add very finely chopped parsley. Mix it up, let it solidify, and spread it on bread.

So far on my Pizza journey, I've learned turkey pepperoni is NOT the same and you should go easy on Ricotta cheese when making Calzones.
