I'm so fucking sick of my town

Yesterday i was hanging out with my friends around town and tell me why EVERY SINGLE FUCKING KID THAT PASSED HAD TO YELL SOMETHING AT US.

We were simply going around and these kids have to say something as we pass by. Groups from 4 ppl to like 12. Worst part its they're so young. Like not teenagers or something, some these literal children were 2nd or 3rd graders. 

And I'm acc kinda confused bcs i wasn't even dressing that alt, i had cargo pants(not so big), a green day tee and a flannel around my waist. HOW IS THAT WEIRD I DON'T GET IT.

People were yelling/saying 'therian' and 'otaku' to us like it's an insult (#｀-_ゝ-). We also encountered some friends and one guy - he was wearing baggy jeans, a white tshirt and jordans- and he said someone had yelled fag at him. WE'RE 14 YO BTW

I'm so fucking sick of my town because it's had a rise in conservatism since all this therian buissness.

For anyone who doesn't know, therians are ppl who feel a more stong spiritual connection with an animal or animals in general. They make masks and do quadrobics(jumping and running in 4 legs) but it's sometimes, usually with no one around or with their friends. These people are usually kids or teenagers and the culture is very interwined with the queer, alt and neurodivergent ones, also it started to popularize within these spaces in the 2020s. 

Okay, well in hispanic countries(idk if in others too) therians have gotten like a spurge of popularity and now everyone hates them and has an opinion on them even though they're riding on misinformation, most people treat or think of them like clinical lycantropists. A clinical lycantropist is "a rare psychiatric syndrome that involves a delusion that the affected person can transform into, has transformed into, or is a non-human animal."

So it pisses me the fuck off because before all of this getting things said/yelled at in my town was kinda rare or at least not as common. 

And it's a pain in the ass because people don't seem to realize that it's a smokescreen for everything that's happening in the world...
