Okay, here's the thing. Punk is under the alternative umbrella, right? It's supposed to rebel, core thing. Whatever, right? Anyways. I hate it when people say "Punk is about feminism, anti-ai, human rights-" Let me stop you right there. That's one of the core things, right? I understand what you're saying, but that's one of the roads to bring punk. But... Tell me this. So punk was made to rebel against society, right? Doing the bare minimum isn't punk. That's just a PART of being punk, and what you're supposed to do. Don't get me wrong now, if you don't do that, you're a poser. But punk is also about politics, the music, etc. It's more than doing human rights. If it were, then punk wouldn't be used as a insult. It's okay if you thought that. But punk has been watered down to just doing the bare minimum, or dressing LIKE a punk. Not on my watch. Yes, a huge part about punk is supporting human rights and being respectful. No, that's not what it's all about. But y'all get what I'm saying now?
