Yes, I'm green. Don't be racist

Title context: The colloquial term "Green with Envy." 
Someone on Reddit says it comes from Shakespeare and the Humorism ideology (Blood, Phlegm, Black bile, and Yellow bile)

ALSO, I PREFACE THIS TO SAY, Envy and Jealousy are NOT the same, but you cannot be Envious without being Jealous. I am talking about JEALOUSY, not Envy.

Jealousy is a VERY real and VERY human emotion that people desperately try to hide while shaming others for feeling it. Like, everyone feels jealous at some point in their life, and that isn't a good thing, but it doesn't deserve to be so heavily shamed.

People don't go as hard against anger issues (in some aspects, it is romanticized)
But HEAVEN FORBID someone feels jealous

People will look at you completely differently if you claim to be jealous of someone who isn't rich or famous.

I KNOW I have no idea what their life is actually like outside of what I am seeing. 
TRUST ME I KNOW !!!

I am not saying I love feeling this way; it is genuinely a very disgusting and shameful feeling, but it is still a feeling I feel. and instead of support and whatever else, people who deal with anger get
I get shamed and looked at weirdly for not having the 'right' kind of jealousy.

I haven't seen Jealousy humanized in the medias much either.
Which is okay, I don't care
I love an evil, jealous villain/antagonist

But we never really get to break down the feeling. It's just:
Jealousy = evil and mean

ONE manga + anime I read (Takopi's original sin) DID touch on the concept though !!!
No spoilers, but it is a great read/watch
