Schools suck.

Random rant 💔 

My school needs to actually start putting its money into serious things. Basically all of their money has gone into a bunch of random ass tvs EVERYWHERE. Is it really necessary to have 8 FREAKING TVS in a singular classroom?? I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, because I know that some other schools struggle terribly and can't afford tvs, sometimes even school books, but my school had the chance to better the education system and wasted it on tvs. In EVERY chemistry/biology class there are 8 tvs, in the other classrooms there are 2, and in almost every hallway there's at least 1. That may sound like a luxury but they sacrificed so much just for tvs. 

So many kids in my school have shit chromebooks. The wifi struggles to reach from one end of the school to the other. The school counselors do nothing to support the kids and help them through their struggle. And the teachers? There are 4 options: Clueless, homophobic, a monster reincarnated into a ugly, sagging, wrinkly prune, or a pedofile. If you just happen to get lucky, there are a few good ones in my school, but definitely not as many as there should be.

In just one semester, the original teacher for my history class dipped before he could get fired (he was being very suspicious around kids, like rubbing on their shoulders and being all touchy feely), and what replaced him from there where 3 different teachers. That inconsistency of having an irregular amount of different teachers for just one semester really took a toll on my grade because the assignments given from each teacher were always random and different, same to say with their teaching styles. Each one of the teachers had NO idea what they were doing, which didn't help because I suck at history, and made my grade plummet.

The counselors aren't any help either. With how severe the bullying is in my school you'd think that they'd have strict boundaries with bullying or easy ways to reach out for help- HELL NAH. The best they'd give is a pat on the back and tell you to keep pushing. Like what? Wow, thanks for being amazing at your job. Your words are SO encouraging.....ts pmo.

AND THE KIDS IN THAT SCHOOL??????? If I had a dollar for every time I heard a [claiming to be very straight, homophobic] boy threating to grape another kid, i'd be so rich. It's not even funny. They go around school, GRIPPING on each other's asscheaks and teachers just look away.

That last part was just pure hate for the kids in my school but other than that you get my point right? I just feel like if they put money into getting good teachers or just even better counselors, maybe kids wouldn't hate school so much. I don't know if onto something or on something- just needed to get that out 🥀
