The United States was beaten by Italy 8-6, thinking that this was a one-time lucky win in thought nothing when they would play against Mexico 

The final score was 
9-1
So Mexico has eliminated 

And Canada has also beaten Cuba as well as PUERTO RICO, which means  

Italy and Canada have the top seeds in their respective pools  

So Canada will face off against the United States on Friday, March 13, at 7:00 p.m. (Houston Time) at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas
