Light updates!

Howdy, I'm just here to talk about random stuff!

First off, I finished the first half of the week, which is where all my music lessons reside. It seems I'm doing really good all things considered; composition was on Monday and we weren't doing too much but apparently my teacher likes what I'm doing so far, piano was on Tuesday and she likes the progress I'm making, and percussion was today and I think I'm gonna be prepared for next week's informal recital. Which BTW, informal recital next week from now! I'm gonna be doing The Offering by Michael Burritt, and based off of what other people have recorded of it, I'm convinced I'm the best person to perform this piece.

Second off, I'm debating on what to do for my music compositions. My best bet is that I have to focus on the 3rd movement of my piano sonata and the rest of my choir piece, but I've been having ideas and previous ideas that I wanna get onto eventually (one of them being a violin concerto, due to the strings professor's insistence). I do wanna write small "chord studies", which are my term for pieces that just focus on harmonies, but I'm afraid they wouldn't be super interesting or long enough. Frankly I'm just worried about my pieces being too short, I know composers can make pieces that last for a half-hour for a relatively small work, which makes me scared that I'm not doing enough. I'll probably figure it out eventually!

Third off, I'm gonna post a video on YouTube about it but I need to update people that I'm not done with music, I have projects lined up, I just need to release them. I get scared about taking too long with music, even though I have a shit ton of music I've already released, which is a really bad mindset but I gotta update people to make sure they know I'm alive. IDK, its not like anyone on here particularly cares about my music (no offense, just how it is), but I'll get to it eventually.
