Not just god...do monkeys ever think of death? about ghosts? Do monkeys get midlife crisis? Do monkeys only think about monkeys and bananas only? Do monkeys have free will or are they forced to act on their urges purely? Do I have free will or is everything I'm doing pre determined by my patterns of actions?
Monkeys have it easy man. They live life with their friends and have sex and eat bananas. Why were we burdened by thought? Thoughts and a capacity to think have given us a better life in a local perspective...but what about the bigger picture? Were we better off as monkeys? Monkeys cant think like this...what do they care about the epstein files or the iran war. Theyre better off eating and having sex in their own bubble.
So is the ability of thought really a good thing?
Do I wanna be human Being or a Monkey that can talk? I have my answer and i hope you do too...
Being a human is hard. In today's world the idea of a human being revolves around the influence one has around them. Money, Power and an ill-cited definition of love. I'd rather be a monkey than deal with crying all night about the injustice happening in this filth we call our world.
My coping mechanism to deal with what i just watched was to cut myself off from it. I will not let these things ruin my summer. Maybe sometimes the bigger picture isnt always good. But the smaller picture is.
Look around...if you're reading this you monkey, hi man wassup? Had lunch? The weather's really warm yeah? So you free this weekend? Wanna grab some burgers I'm hungry.
That's it the moment is here its right now. Being a human means to love. The power of thought and speech was to unconditionally express that love. I dont wanna think about my future sometimes i like to work on my projects and make old electronics work. That's my bubble that cuts me away from the bigger picture of engineering occasionally.
I got soooooooooooo distracted from the main topic but whatever. I hope everybody has a bubble where they actually feel happy before going back to the bigger picture to deal with a filthy world.

Nah tbh I'm fine being a human. I like thinking, making and other commodities.
My problem is the society and the world humanity has built over the ages to the madness we live today.
Yeah that's exactly what im saying i feel like the local perspective of things are always beautiful but the bigger picture is always disturbing but at some point we'll have to go back to the real world. So i hope everyone has their little bubble of a world where they get to feel free from how bad this world really is

i think of monkeys like toddlers, mainly bc i have a lot of toddler cousins i rly dislike. but if they surround themself with other monkeys and not learn beyond finding food, sex, and idk whatother activities monkeys engage in i hardly believe they think of death or have many worries. i dont think they know of death how we know it, but more so that "monkey friend is nevwr to be seen again".
but then theres monkeys with depression and anxiety and whatever other mental problems... so they obviously can feel sad enough to have depression. maybe not as humans explain but yeah idk theres arguments for both sides so i dont have a clear stance
Monkeys do feel aware but theyre limited by the way they work...forced to act on their urges most of the time. Now that begs the question...are we limited too? Imagine limitless thought its sounds so crazy do you think we'll find answers to the cosmos from that?

but theres like so many different kinds of ppl, thoughtfully speaking. someone in some point in time would have figured out an answer to most questions in life (not out of life like death ans beliefs) so idk i think ur average person might be confined to their thoughts, but some person somewhere on earth might not
