So i set my profile on private because i thought people could IM me without us being friends since I have my IMs open to everyone BUT that might not be the case because I don’t know if my profile actually shows you an option to IM me. On other profiles it didnt show the option buuuut they might just have their IMs closed to everyone
Tldr try to IM me without friending me plz

??? I'm a little confused why you want everyone to be able to IM you when your profile is private lol. Anyways, because your Profile is private no one can text you either. Usually you still have the 'option' to instant message people when their IM's are set to private it just won't go through.
