My top5 favorite movies

hey everyone o/  i don't know about you, but for a while it felt kind of strange to me when someone asked me what my all-time favorite movies were.

I've been a complete geek and nerd for as long as I can remember, and I've consumed pop culture for as long as I can talk.

I was like, please be more specific!!!! Favorite comedy movies? Action movies? Romance movies?

Because I really like movies, I don't have the best criteria for evaluating films, but I enjoy watching them, so, like, there are so many, naming just 5 among so many types made me kind of nervous, like it was a matter of life or death for me.

If they asked me for a specific genre, it was a little easier to choose, but when they asked me for something like "in general," i was faced with a giant blue loading screen.

So, as time went on, alone in my room, acting as if I were being interviewed on one of those famous talk shows, I thought with my two functioning neurons... Which movies can I watch most often per year? Regardless of genre or anything else.

So, based on that, I put together this short list of my top 5 favorite movies.

And let me give you a heads-up: it's completely random and makes no sense, i'm far too eclectic in every possible way.

I love, love, love, love this movie! Along with Spider-Man, Batman has always been my childhood hero, and the Dark Knight trilogy will always be impeccable to me.

Okay, I'm from 2004, I grew up with vampire movies and TV shows, and if it's raining, for me it means making lots of popcorn and watching my beloved cheesy vampire romance movie.

I admit it took me a while to understand exactly what was going on, but I've been rewatching it a few times a year for years now. I love making jokes with my best friend about Darcy's strange declaration of love.

This movie is beautiful and very impactful. I really like the sequels, but nothing truly surpasses the original. I'm planning a tattoo about this movie.

I'm not kidding when I say I really love this movie, the CGI beats many that are released nowadays. If I could, I would watch this movie every single day of the year. It's a little difficult to describe why this film is so important to me.

I think you all understand now what I meant by random hahaha

I've spent hours talking and talking to my friends and possible spirits in my room as if I were actually defending my thesis, when in reality I just really wanted to talk about random things related to Lord of the Rings.

But I don't like being a nuisance or sounding like a broken record that's always repeating the same things.

So, probably from now on, I'll be making a lot of random posts with comments about this sort of thing.
