I live in an area that plays some cool shit. I get this station that plays 90s and 2000s rock/metal, they also sometimes play stuff from local bands and some death metal on Sunday nights. There's also a college radio station I like that plays a variety of music from disco to black metal to techno to screamo. I think I've listened to the radio more in the past year than I have at any other point in my life.
My local radio stations play cool shit sometimes

Every time I visit Austria I am blown away by how good their radio is compared to anywhere else I've ever been
What kind of stuff do they play over there? I live in Hell (or USA as most people call it) and I've never traveled to a foreign country.

Lots of nostalgic music from 90's to 10's, rock, jazz even, no recent hits ever as far as I've noticed (compared to where I live now, where I can't escape taylor swift or whoever it is that recycled 'somebody that I used to know')
