RANKING THE LOVE NIKKI LIFETIME SUITS!

Okay so I've decided I want to start blogging all about my favorite game EVER! Love NIKKI!!! And what better way to start than with a silly ranking post? I have a bunchhhh of ideas for different rankings but I thought the best category to start with was all of the lifetime suits! 

For anyone who doesn't play Love Nikki, lifetime suits (also refered to in game as "treasure" suits) are a collection of outfits that are INCREDIBLY hard to craft, usually requiring months of grinding in order to complete. They serve as major achievements/benchmarks for players as they progress through the game, and each one usually connects to some important figure in the story of Love Nikki!

For my ranking, I will be looking at the 8 main classic lifetime suits. So no luxury treasure (sorry oath of ice and sword I still love you) and I will be counting the different recolors/remasters of Star Sea all as one suit. Also no recolors because lifetime recolors are a conspiracy by Big Nikki in order to waste our time and materials. /j

Okay!! Time for the ranking!

9th: Stunning Beauty

8th: Grice

She is so. Freaking. Pretty. But by current standards she just does not feel worth it. At all. Like I love the puppet body and strings, she is so unique and WAY better than stunning beauty. But no pose? Only 1 BG item? She could be serving a bit more idk.

7th: White Night Chant

Do not get me wrong. I think this suit is GORGEOUS. But I feel like by herself, not taking into account her sister suit (Minstrel of Time), she’s leaving a bit to be desired. I don’t love the asymmetry in that center area of the dress, and her pose is kind of awkward just by itself. This is a beautiful suit, but it just isn’t giving lifetime in my opinion.

6th: White Blossom

It KILLS ME to put White Blossom this low. But most of my love for this suit is just because it’s Kimi’s mom. If I was just taking into account story and lore, White Blossom would easily be in 1st or 2nd. But I’m also ranking these suits based on style, and in my opinion, I think she’s pretty but ultimately nothing special? THAT SOUNDS MEAN its just. Idk there's other suits similar to it that I like more (COUGH COUGH Sakura Sky COUGH COUGH)

5th: Minstrel of Time

I’m gonna be so honest this suit makes me feel almost nothing and I don’t wanna talk about her. She’s gorgeous… she’s incredible… but I have nothing of interest to say about this suit or the lore it’s based on. NEXT!!

4th: Star Sea

I really want to say that Star Sea is top 3 material… but in comparison to the other lifetimes, without nostalgia bias, it’s relatively simple. I think what carries this suit is just how striking and iconic it is though. Even if the design is simple, it is SO memorable and there's no denying that it stood the test of time. They added Star Sea to both Shining Nikki AND Infinity Nikki, and arguably there is no suit more iconic than Star Sea. Incredibly well designed and gorgeous, there's just a couple suits I like more.

Also I don’t wanna clog up this blog post with long rants about the lore, but also GOOD GODDD the way this suit connects to Nikki’s story and journey across miraland is my roman empire UGH. /pos

3rd: The Origin of Shimmer

Okay before I say anything else… I do not like her makeup AT ALL. I really really hate it. Okay that’s my only critique THIS SUIT IS SO GORGEOUS. I love her long flowing hair and dress. Her background items are CRAZY good, they’re so extra. I feel like they could have just half-assed this suit, but they really went all out designing this gorgeous space goddess and I just adore her.

2nd: Legend of Tulans

So. Freaking. STUNNING. Her background items are incredible, it’s my favorite thing when items in a suit completely cover the entire screen.  Her outfit and accessories are so decadent and rich, and her pose and expression are EVERYTHING. She just feels so powerful and mysterious… I don’t know what else to say about her. She's just perfect.

1st: Icewind Warchant

I do recognize that technically speaking… Legend of Tulans and The Origin of Shimmer are better suits… but this is MY ranking and I’m ignoring objective fact and picking my completely biased favorite for #1!!! ICEWIND WARCHANT SWEEP!!!! This suit is genuinely perfect. Her expression and pose are just so striking and powerful, and I love how the way they designed her makeup creates perspective. She’s just so unique and there's no suit quite as incredible as her IMO. ICEWIND WARCHANT MY BEAUTIFUL GOAT!!!
