new macbook neo?? good or bad??

(im too tired to properly write this essay; enjoy the short and sweet :p)

so apple just debuted the new macbook neo!! super neat!!

the good :)

• actually pretty good specs for the price! (apparently as good/better than the m1 mba)
• mac os is a unix system! (and it isn't microsoft :p)
• very energy efficient!
• probably good for anyone that doesn't play heavy games/use windows-only apps!

the bad :(

• dominant mac == less competition ?= bad product?. this machine blows other computers at the same price out of the market, which is probably gonna make mac far more popular than it already is. but unfortunately, historically, dominant tech companies just enshittify their products
• macs are notoriously difficult/impossible to service, so even less consumer friendly product dominance
