Video Players on KCU Plus Updated

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone has had an amazing start to their 2022! If not, then hang in there! It's still too early to judge, so stay strong.

Some good news, finally: The video player on our video-based sub-domain website KCU + Plus has been updated. Not only has it been updated, but the playback is silky smooth and more stable than the previous player we used. This means that not only can you choose a playback based on quality, such as 480 or 1080, but even at 1080p, the playback is solid. You're asking, what about 4K dude? I may be in the minority, but 4K, as beautiful as it is, isn't the most important thing to us; The important thing is content. We do have a 4K cinema camera by BlackMagic but unless it's a big, film-like project or series that demands high resolution, we're completely content with high definition. Heck, we even invested in HDV cameras--my personal favorite.

New website, new video player, now what? Things have been a little busier behind the scenes, doing various audio and video testing, but we're ready to produce videos again! They will all be exclusively uploaded on our sub-domain plus.kcuniversal.net. As mentioned before, we love YouTube but due to the steadily increasing traffic we have organically garnered from our website, we feel it's the best place for us. TONS of hours and TONS of "sandbox" testing went into the making of our video website, moreso than our front page website and our sports section. Nevertheless, those hours were worth it, and here we are! Oh, and we'll also be video blogging--vlogging--just to keep things more interesting, appealing to those who love vlogs as well.
