favorite nu metal albums??

what is and isnt nu metal is highly debated and yadda yadda but what i wanna focus here is albums post Korn's debut that dont have long pauses with riffs and generally feature some kind of electronic sound (like synths or sliders)

i will now list my 3 favorites !!

1 - American Head Charge - The War Of Art | this is such a fantastic record, the most "metallic" album i ever listened to, the slower parts and breakdowns are absurd with the absolute best ones on the album being A Violent Reaction, Shutdown and Nothing Gets Nothing, the softer vocals from Cam in tracks like Breathe In, Bleed Out are eye-watering and definitely his greatest parts

2 - Wurkt - Better In Two Weeks | the most underrated band ever in my eyes surged from Cali, kicked ass in their self released debut and completely changed my mind on nu when i first heard it. Wurkt was masterful with more heartfelt themes in sadder tracks like Daughters Eyes, Jimmy and Slypt (how its written in the album) with fantastic vocals and pretty creative guitars. the more angry songs like The Angels still retain those sad undertones and are just as beautiful

3 - Nozion - Tiempos de Revoluzion | a chilean record from the long lost year of 2007, presented by a friend to me, Tiempos de Revoluzion is more akin to hardcore with blistering fast instruments and vocals that combo you till you explode, songs like Basta and Fuego have really creative galloping guitars that i absolutely love. i dont really have many thoughts on lyrics since i dont speak spanish but a bonus for the brazilians, the third song "Bored by da Violence" starts with the infamous "no pé ou na mão" scene from Cidade de Deus

and thats it !! share what you think of my selection and tell me yours too !!!
