I don't know what's up with the title but hear me out. I think we are in a crisis where the world is highkey not that amazing anymore. I will be talking about America mostly because I live in America and so far I only know a lot of political things happening in America. I want you guys to know some of the things I've learned/watched about America for some non-American people who read this. The political world of America is some times a rough topic because not many people will want to talk about it but I think it is good to talk about the uncomfortable in order to be comfortable. I'm a person of color and recently I've heard about ICE, Trump, Immigration, and other things that are sensitive topics but people desensitize it or don't care about it.
First off, when ICE first went around, I heard a lot about the Minnesota stuff and I was heartbroken because what if it could happen to me? Then I heard about how they were racially profiling, the leader of the ICE was doing Nazi salutes, they could start stripping 12 year old kids away from their families, and ICE just breaks into people's home or even follow them home. For a while, I was always scared that maybe one day an ICE agent pulls me over or a whole group of them chase me down to my house. I was afraid that maybe just walking home one day from school, someone would report me because I'm not white. And because of all of this, it made me feel not proud to be an American or made me doubt about my race. I really shouldn't think my race is bad, I should be proud of being South-East Asian but here I am, wishing I was white. I had never thought that in my life EVER. I think it shows how bad society has been getting that we are reverting backwards, like as if Trump wants it it to be the early 1900's or something.
Second, I've heard SOME things about Trump and how he was trying to change the constitution. One being about children who are POC can't be a citizen despite being born in America?? Don't quite quote me on it, I saw it on a educational youtube short so please have critical thinking and research yourself! I heard he even demolished a part of the white house though it's considered a monumental building or something like that? where the building is so old it's considered like something ancient that nobody can destroy? Yet again, don't quote me on this, I still have yet to research about that. I do know that in America, we are almost 50% way through the Project 2025 and it upsets me. One of the things is about abortion and I'm gonna say my bias and strong belief so idc if you guys are upset that I am pro-choice and I think it's the only right one. I am upset that abortion is banned almost everywhere because I strongly believe it should be the female's body to choose either to keep the baby or not and I completely understand that people think that abortion should be banned because some females just abort the baby just so they can have sex again and again if they aren't on a plan but that's not all true. Abortion can help a lot of female's and I think it's morally wrong that a female should still carry her rapist's baby or that a 8 year old girl should be pregnant. It's DISGUSTING and if you can't see that, you are a horrible person who has no empathy. Abortion can help a female with complications inside in where she will need to abort the baby. I once saw a news about how a woman who was pregnant was kept on oxygen just to keep her baby alive because abortion was illegal but the women ended up dying anyways. I don't understand why people don't see that's a problem?? We can always make another baby but never someone who already experienced life. Do you yall get what I mean?? It's just like how you can't make another you but you can always reproduce. I think banning abortion was very selfish and stupid because I could never bare to carry a baby of whose father just raped me and if you think other wise please stfu and get yourself educated!!!! I would die first if I had complications and I couldn't abort the baby btw.
Lastly, I'm a teenage girl, alright? therefore I hear many interesting things from highschool life. Sometimes it makes me wonder where did we all fall apart? Where did we lose basic empathy? where did we lose education? Why did we stop caring? In class, I hear white boys saying the N word like as if it's just a common 'bro' slang, I get racially stereotyped by someone who I don't even know and they think it's funny, and people are so judgmental. We are quite literally devolving from humanity like c'mon guys it's not hard being nice to SOMEONE PLEASEE. Do something nice today, compliment someone, help someone carry something, say hi to someone you've never talked to, make something nice, like why did we forget about it all?? I hate how people will talk about sensitive topics and treat it like a joke like erm okay you're not funny actually and I think you're a piece of shit. Some people just doesn't put themselves in other's shoes nor do they have critical thinking before saying something so rude or overstepping boundaries. I also hear how people will just give up on their grades completely because they don't think it's worth and so I wish they could do something about it but I can't force them, yk? and so I just sit there and just be quiet because I want people to have something meaningful for them. I want people to follow into a passion to it sets them up for adulthood, but it is hard to think that when society makes it so hard to be independent or to be successful after high school at this point. If you wanna know, I'm going into early childhood education and while some people think that's stupid or not a enough paying job, I want you to know that I am getting into it because I want to work with kids and I think it'll be the best job ever and because children are really our next generation so I would hope to raise your damn kids correctly. There's actually a lot of things I learned from my ECE class that some parents are missing in raising their kids icl. I'm not gonna try to bash on how parents raise their kids but older kids who have younger siblings can DEFINITELY see the difference between how their parents raised them vs the younger siblings...:/
Anyways I think that's a wrap unless I have more to yapp about later 2nite :D
HEBS OUTTT!!!!
